Ready to train Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Rockhampton?

MMA is the ultimate blend of combat disciplines, combining the most effective striking and grappling arts into one. It relies on mastering principles from multiple arts—integrating the footwork and punching of Boxing, the clinch and “eight limbs” of Muay Thai, and the takedowns and ground control of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling.

The goal is to forge a well-rounded athlete, creating a functional system to seamlessly transition between all ranges of combat. At Valor, you’ll learn to put it all together in a structured and high-energy environment.

What To Expect

Each of our MMA classes is structured into three distinct phases: a comprehensive warm-up, a core segment focusing on integrating striking and grappling techniques, and a final block of situational sparring and live application drills. Our classes cater to all experience levels, from individuals with no prior experience to competitive athletes.

The Essentials

To get the most out of your session, please come prepared with a few essentials. For your safety, you will need MMA gloves and a mouthguard. Remember to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, and most importantly, come with a positive attitude. Being ready to learn and put in the effort is the key to a great training experience.
