Coastal Warfare
The Valor fight team travelled to the Sunshine Coast to compete in Muay Thai at Coastal Warfare 31.
Gary entered the ring for his first fight and set the pace from the start. He applied pressure, using a heavy clinch and knees to wear down his opponent. After Gary secured four 8-counts, the referee stopped the fight in the 3rd round, giving him the TKO victory.
Liam accepted a fight on just two days’ notice, marking his fifth bout this year. The match was a display of skill from both athletes, showcasing the complete Muay Thai skillset. Liam took a loss in a very tight decision.
Boxing Emerald
The Valor boxing team traveled to Emerald to compete, stepping into the ring to test their skills.
Masi entered the ring for his fourth match. He lost via decision in a hard-fought bout against a heavier opponent.
Carter lost his second fight in a very contentious split decision.
Dakai went into his fight carrying an injury and chose to exchange heavy blows, fighting toe-to-toe before stopping his opponent in the 3rd round.
